just said I've never been too terribly interested in it... they're not synonyms are they? I listen to some artists, but I'm far from well-versed in the genre and have never delved too deeply into it, as a result of my passion for other music. I recognize the value of trip/hip hop, and can appreciate some, that doesn't mean I don't like it does it? |

EDIT: So I'm assuming (but not judging) that you might find trip-hop less interesting than I do since trip-hop is a sub-genre of hip-hop and you said that you've never really been interested in the genre of hiphop as a whole.
