Yup, it's another year-end list, but a man's gotta leave a mark doesn't he? Anyway, I was slackin' for most of 2011 and so, in a year that many hailed as one of the best in recent memory as far as quality new releases go, I was kicking back, listening to a rather small amount of new music in the process. Anyway, I still present to you my top 40 records this year, loosely ranked in the proper order. Also, since I know 95% of you don't bother to read the descriptions to 40 albums, I'll just go with a simple system, naming the artist, album, genre, my rating for the album, my favorite song from the album and a video link to the said song for anyone that's interested.
