It's by and large the greatest medicine available to us (and it's natural) and in the medical books, you can't find a single death linked to its use. I think it's ridiculous that it's illegal while alcohol isn't.

If weed wasn't around they'd just find something else to abuse and they'd still do nothing with their life.

I personally, though I've never tried marijuana, have no desire to. I've done my research, I've talked to plenty of people about it, and I highly doubt my life would become exponentially greater if I started smoking weed (I also have no desire to take any non-antibiotic medication). My argument against pot has everything to do with the people itself. Some people are just physically/mentally/emotionally hardwired towards dependency, and those people are usually fucking annoying/depressing to be around. Legalize it, because it's no worse than alcohol and a billion other reasons that it should be legalized. Crack down on the potheads, not the pot.

I think the best argument for legalizing is that it would stop the incarceration of non-violent drug offenders, which would save a fuckload of money. Plus, they will tax the shit out of it like tobacco and more money there.
