| Random Good Albums I've Been Listening To

Listened to this due to a recommendation from a friend. Some really dark, violent hardcore with nice riffz. The screaming and anger got a bit too much for me to take after a while though, hence a rating of 3/5. Those with a little more endurance than me and a desire to listen some violent Swedish hardcore should enjoy this. Panopticon
Very nice recommendation from a fellow sputniker. It hasn't evoked the desire to replay it over and over like some of my favourite albums do, but I have a feeling this will be a grower and I will definitely listen again. 4/5 | | 3 |  | Supermachiner
Rise Of The Great Machine
A great album that people who like bands similar to Godspeed You! Black Emperor should enjoy. It's a bit hard to describe, mostly really atmospheric and for the most part relaxing instrumentals with very little vocals. Some ideas are a little undeveloped but there are some really good songs on this. 3.5-4/5 | | 4 |  | Entombed

The Blood Of Thine Enemies
Not really an album. A rare 7" EP with one song, totally different from Converge. Very minimalistic and sombre, almost hypnotizing song. He also does clean singing which is cool. 4/5 | | 6 |  | The Blinding Light

The Nightmare Before Christmas
So apparently annoying kids are giving this movie a bad reputation but don't let that fool you. It's really sweet and especially the music and songs are beautiful and great fun. | |
