My Top Ten (of All Time)

These are the albums that laid the foundation for what I listen to today.
1Underoath
Define The Great Line

Through my 8th grade year, this was the way I found God. Everything is so solid, and the fact that it was one of the first records I viewed as a whole rather than a collection of songs really speaks volumes.
2The American Dollar
A Memory Stream

I was introduced to the term "post-rock" by this album.
3Circle Takes The Square
As The Roots Undo

...because I would still be calling Senses Fail "screamo" without this.
4Chevelle
This Type Of Thinking (Could Do Us In)

My gateway drug into heavy music.
5Incubus
Morning View

Literally my first encounter with a song over 7 minutes long was on this album. From start to finish, not a bad moment on here. Makes me strive to be a better vocalist every day.
6mewithoutYou
Brother, Sister

Brought emotion in music to me in a way I'd never felt it before.
7 Brokencyde
I'm Not A Fan, But The Kids Like It!

JK! :D
8Relient K
Mmhmm

Still listen to it, even though I got it when I first came out, which was a lifetime ago.
9Kings Of Leon
Aha Shake Heartbreak

Opened me up to indie music.
10Spitalfield
Better Than Knowing Where You Are

Makes me feel alive.
