why does this matter? it's a form of extreme metal, converge takes influence from grind, math, and death, the only difference there is that he's more technically proficient with his instrument than the cc drummer is, using genres as a way to defend yourself here is pretty much proof you've lost and are just trying to backpedal your way out of it
