09.03.09 | I'm one of the people making Nirvana comparisons, and what's wrong with that? Of course it is a comparison that is about as useful as anything else. In my attempt to describe what the album sounds like, it's a hybrid of earlier Modest Mouse with a touch of Nirvana, and a sound that is all Brand New's on their own. I also believe Daisy is more intense than either of the aforementioned bands, and that's saying something considering I'm a huge fan of both. Amazing album |
