| Concerts I'm Going To This Fall
Some shows I'm going to be checking out... | 1 | Four Year Strong / I Am the Avalanche / This is Hell
Buffalo, NY 10/30
This is a pretty stacked show. This is Hell is pretty decent and Four Year Strong is fucking great live, but I LOVE I Am the Avalanche! Vinnie Caruana is the fucking tits. Easily the best pop-punk/rock band around today. | 2 | A Wilhelm Scream / Signal Home
Erie, PA 11/9
A Wilhelm Scream has such an impressive discography, and their last two have been nothing short of amazing. They came through my area a few years ago and I missed it, so I finally get another chance. Signal Home is a band that is from around here, so I've seen them a bunch of times, but they always deliver. I would suggest people check them out. Definitely some good orgcore. | 3 | Senses Fail
Buffalo, NY 11/14
This is a buddy's favorite band and it's his birthday so we're going to see them. I'm a fan of SF, but what I've heard of Buddy's vocals on the new record I'm not too keen on. Maybe I'll warm up to them before the show. Also, I remember looking at the openers and thinking they were pretty weak. | 4 | The Aquabats
Cleveland, OH 11/21
The Aquabats are so cool. I've seen them live once, and it was seriously one of the greatest shows I've ever been to. It's more stage show than straight-forward performance, so you really get sucked into a different place entirely. | 5 | The A.K.A.s / In the Day
Erie, PA 11/22
The A.K.A.s are one of the best contemporary punk bands out there, blending a raw punk sound with danceable grooves. It's all about shaking your ass while you tear down the system. To quote their last record, "Fight, Fuck, Dance, Destroy". Good stuff. Also, In the Day is a local melodic hardcore/pop punk band. They're fun to see, but they use breakdowns like a crutch. | 6 | The Code / Hank Jones
Erie, PA 12/4
Ahh, The Code... So glad they're back from their year long hiatus. They're like an early Anti-Flag with a hint of ska every here and there. Then Hank Jones is awesome sing/shout along positive hardcore punk. | |

10.16.08 | Buddy was pretty offkey two nights ago so i'm just warning you. The guitarists were cool though. | natey
10.16.08 | I may be at that Senses Fail show. Club Infinity is pretty hip. |
