My Secret Musical Shames

Everyone has those bands that they secretly like but don't want anybody to know because they will be judged. You know what I mean, the band that if someone barges into your room and catch you listening to they give you that look and you feel shame, the band whose cd you only listen to when you are alone, who you have to pretend to hate and switch the radio station when they come on. Yep, everybody has those bands. This is my list.
1Bee Gees

Terrible disco music for most people, for me...greatness.
2Kelly Clarkson

Don't ask me why i like it because i have no reason. Trust me, i wish i didn't like it.
3Three Days Grace

Truly not a great band and i know it but i like their songs.
4The Fray

When people look through my cd's and find How to save A Life among the heavy stuff that is my musical collection, i lie and say it was my ex girlfriends and everyone is happy.
5Taylor Swift

Not really a secret shame because everybody knows i like her stuff. But don't beak her or i'll lose it.
6Paramore

This band rocks... there. i said it. deal with it.
7Anberlin

Another band that no one expects me to like. But at least i can argue that these guys have talent and credibility compared to some band like Simple Plan.
8Caliban

Whenever this comes on in my car i have to switch it because when other people hear his vocals they can't take it. Too hardcore for them i guess. Fuck em if they cant take a joke.

I have to lie and say my mom left his cd in my car. I also have to lie to my mom and say its not mine otherwise she will want me to sing along with her. Its a pretty awful situation.
