| More Than Just Music.
A small list (in no particular order) of some albums that have some cool quirk/gimmick/thing to
accompany the music itself. | 1 | | Tool 10,000 Days
Stereoscopic lenses that create 3-D renditions of Alex Grey artwork?! This outdoes everything they have
done before (Yes, even the cow trying to lick it's ass.) That's saying something considering they pioneer
awesome packaging. | 2 | | Boris Pink
Opening the jewel case gives all buyers the same experience: "Blotter paper?!" The anticipation of putting
this in the player is irresistible after seeing those. | 3 | | The Red Chord Prey For Eyes
The optical illusion behind the physical CD was a nice touch. Nothing amazing, but nice nonetheless. | 4 | | Torche Meanderthal
I loved the artwork the first time I laid eyes upon it. Then to actually turn it around and see the half-full
insert. Then opening it up, taking the booklet out and having tons of trippy monsters and shit to look at.
Two thumbs up. | 5 | | Glassjaw Worship and Tribute
What's not to love about a mini record player with a mini record? | 6 | | Pearl Jam No Code
A mosaic of random polaroids created by "collector cards" with lyrics on the back. Unfortunately, you had to be
lucky enough to have enough friends to purchase the album and not get duplicates to get lyrics to the whole
album. | 7 | | Isis Panopticon
Aerial photographs are cool. When they are glossy they're even cooler. | 8 | | The Ocean Precambrian
A booklet for each half of the album (in terms of time). Awesome artwork that fits in perfect with the
concept, and a minidisc set into a full-sized CD. Simply awesome. | 9 | | Bleeding Through The Truth
The over-the-top and realistic goriness is just something you can't help but stare at. | 10 | | The Black Angels Passover
The thick black gel-like screening on white is fun to look at AND feel. And it'll give you a dizzying effect if you
look at it for too long, so be careful. | |

10.25.08 | I love the artowrk for The Truth. | Curse.
10.25.08 | The artwork in the booklet is better than the album, tbh | Tool121
10.25.08 | aenima slays all | Chewie
10.25.08 | needs Year Zero, the black disc turns white after you put it into your computer. | foreverendeared

10.26.08 | Aenima, Lateralus, and 10,000 Days all have amazing packaging. Out of all my cds, Panopticon and Blood Inside by Ulver have the glossiest booklets. 10 reminds me of the point, line, plane projects I did for my fund of design class last year. Hated that shit. | Burning_October
10.26.08 | I always liked Pinkertons artwork, not only is the cover cool, but there's a map under the CD tray, and a geisha on the back if you look at it in the right light.
Also, the 10000 Days box has, on several occasions, almost made me want to get the album, even though I dont listen to Tool. | ClearTheLane
10.26.08 | 10 is awesome |
