the past ten cds i've bought, in no order.
1 Cursive
Mama, I'm Swollen

Pretty cool cd. doesn't quite eclipse their earlier work though, imho.
2 mewithoutYou
It's all crazy! It's all false! It's all

While good overall, some of the songs were pretty disapointing to me. esspecially the part 2 of 'bullet to binary'. just.. meh. on the other hand, "goodbye, I!" is a fabulous song.
3The Bled
Pass The Flask

Picked this up in a pawn shop. Never had gotten into The Bled, and they're not too bad. Although, had I discovered them a few years back i would have liked better, methinks.
4Fugazi
Repeater

Honestly, I really feel that this CD pales in comparison to 13 songs. that album is genius
5U2
War

Probably one of my favorite albums of the 80's
6Silversun Pickups
Swoon

Really glad I picked this up.
7R.E.M.
Accelerate

Never got around to buying this when it first came out, even though I downloaded it.
8At the drive-in
In / Casino / Out

now i've all their full-lengths! hooray. oddly enough though, I like the bookends more then the album in the middle. I guess it's a grower?
9Cursive
The Ugly Organ

This is my favorite cursive cd. "a gentleman caller" is one of my all-time favorite songs.
10ZAO
Awake?

Too many clean vocals. relying on such to make a song interesting seems like a crutch unbecoming zao's former greatness. A thoroughly entertaining listen all the same. it's very nice to be able to hear the instruments clearly again too. "the fear is what keeps us here" was way too messy in that reguard.
