I'll take in consideration ''Sons of the Silent Age'', ''Lady Grinning Soul'', ''Teenage Wildlife'', ''Neighborhood Threat'' (by Iggy Pop, isn't it?)...I've got all the other ones into my list. The Bewlay Brothers almost made it, but I cut it in the last minute.

Jethro42 04.26.15	@Fripp, thanks for your recs, I enjoyed them all. I noticed that Murphy's ''Love is Lost'' has a nod and a wink to Ashes to Ashes. And I found couple of gems from Heathens; ''Afraid'', ''I Would be Your Slave'' and ''5:15 The Angels Have Come''. I have to relisten to that album again.
Frippertronics 04.26.15	yeah, the original is cool, but the remix is the better version imo. "pity" really reminds me of the stuff on Outside and Earthling, while "Sue" is something entirely new that is nothing like the stuff from The Next Day.
Jethro42 04.26.15	Outside and Earthling are rather experimental and more hard to digest...They're not like our usual Bowie, but they finally grew on me. I have to give more spin to Outside though. I surprised myself to dig ''Halo Spaceboy'' and ''Dead Man Walking'' despite their ''boom boom boom'' beat haha.
Frippertronics 04.26.15	yeah I heard Outside for the first time in ages the other day, and it really holds up well. I like Earthling, but I don't really go back to it as much. Hours is really his weakest point post-NLMD though, I just don't really care for the new sound on that one, but I need to check that one more.
Jethro42 04.26.15	Yeah his vocals are not powerful for his standards, and songs are pretty much ballad-like and I wonder why I gave it a 3.5. Try Dreaming My Life, it's ending is sweet. Thursday's Child is ok too...I don't remember the rest. I listened to that album for the sake of creating a list after all...
Frippertronics 04.26.15	yeah, I do remember liking Thursday's Child, The Pretty Things are Going to Hell (has a lost music video that used the puppets and stuff that would be used in the video of the Murphy mix of Love is Lost that Bowie made himself for like eight dollars (USD) - there's also the full eleven minute video that is completely different), and If I'm Dreaming in my Life. The album as whole came across as bland, but it's been a while since I heard it so I will undoubtedly get to it in the future.
Jethro42 04.26.15	Yeah, bland is the word for Hours. That's my feeling about the album after one listen. I think I gave it a 3.5 to imitate the sput writer Major Tom, but it's provisional anyway.

Frippertronics 04.26.15	no prob, i see it as a solid 3 atm but who knows it's been like a year since I last heard it. Heathen, the follow-up, just demolishes Hours in both consistency, but in how it sounds (guess which one already sounds pretty dated?), and the songwriting as well.

Frippertronics 04.26.15	hell I'd even say The Next Day is some fine artwork, though on my computer I use an alternative version that is just the white block with the title in it. Reality's cover is pretty bad though.
