01.02.10 | I got 9, it cost me like $80 but it was worth it. The artwork and the etched side 4 are awesome. De-Loused is even harder to find. |

01.02.10 | AnotherBrick: Yeah, you are right, we listen to a lot of the same music. And damn I would kill for some of those vinyls you have, such as Radiohead - The Bends, and the Tool albums.
I went to this yard sale once, and they had a lot of Jethro Tull albums, including Think as a Brick and Aqualung, they were like 50 cents. I should have gotten them, but didn't because this was before I got my turntable. I regret it.
Feav: Thanks.
Prophet: I envy you very much sir. I really want to collect all of Volta's albums on vinyl. |
Prophet178
01.02.10 | I got em all except Amp, wasn't cheap! Haha. They're one of my favorite bands of all time so it was pretty justifiable for the money I think. I still need to get the ATD-I stuff... |
shade
01.02.10 | I only have Funeral and LYSF |

01.02.10 | God I am so jealous of you. XD I was just looking on Amazon for vinyls from my favorite bands, even though I already have the CDs. Anyway, the cheapest you can get De-Loused for is $354. D: $100 for FTM, and $90 for Amp.
On a side note, I discovered they have Radiohead's In Rainbows on vinyl for only $11.99, I'm going to be getting that as well.
Any recs for me as far as vinyls go? |
Prophet178
01.02.10 | Yeah, Omar has been saying he's going to reissue the Volta vinyls that were on GSL via Sargent House for years, hopefully that comes true soon. |

01.02.10 | Yeah I saw them a few months ago, it was a sick show. They didn't jam as much as I had heard they used to, but they played son et lumiere and Inertiac ESP so I was happy. |
Jips
01.02.10 | i have too many vinyls to post them all but ive been working on my metal collection... was excited to pick up a W.a.s.p. and overkill record a few days ago...
i too have the yes albums and think vinyl is the only way to experience them... |
AnotherBrick
01.02.10 | seen volta a few times, first time was opening for chili peppers after amputechture and they only played day of the baphomats and viscera eyes but they managed to stretch it out for 45 minutes which was fucking awesome. and the second time i was front row trying to dodge cedrics mike and they would make every song be about 20 minutes after excessive jamming. pretty sweet you see omar like directing them on stage all that cool jazz |
