DDDeftoneDDD 02.06.20	Beautiful bands (I'm a big Mastodon fan!)...to start on DM you could dive to some Opeth as mentioned, or Gojira. Meshuggah is a hard listen but should give you some callus. From Rolo Tomasi areas you should check the sput big ones Converge, tDEP and ETID f.e.

I downloaded Dillinger escape plan and Converge like 10 years ago but never really got around to it. I'll check them out. And since everyone is saying Opeth i'll check them out too haha.
