Only one ive heard is 4 and its pretty decent.
All the others sound horrid though
like scream!, i've only heard 4, but its a great cover!
all the others sound terrible, esp celine dion and limp bizkit
I haven't heard all of these and I'll take your word that those ones are horrible too.
I don't like the Knockin' cover for some reason, but I have to admit that compared to the other ones it's not bad really..
Come on you must have heard the limp bizkit one it was like a mega hit about 5 years ago, with the video of... what's his name Fred Dirst(?) making out with Halle Berry. Oh God it was terrible, disgrace for The Who..
damn Hilary Duff did it as well, I feel bad for them now haha
ueah these are pretty horrid but shatner rules. His version of rocket man is great.
3 is amazing just because its William effing Shatner...the rest are awful though haha
Needs Crazy Town's live cover of "New Noise" by Refused.
1 was actually not that bad. Though the original version is better, of course. Everything else on here is terrible though.
Six Feet Under - Back in Black
worst. cover. ever.
Also needs both Atreyu and Blake Lewis' versions of "You Give Love a Bad Name".
Awww, I really love 1.
And while I haven't heard 10, I did see what everyone has against her. She was an extremely rare singer - alot of popular female singers these days try to copy her style, but they just can't hit the notes she could.
Limp Bizkit's cover is terrible.
#4 ain't so bad.
I hate Hilary Duff with a passion. Liked her has Lizzy, hate her now.
And this list is missing Switchfoot's cover of Bad Religion's "Sorrow"
and Alanis Morrisette's cover of RATM's "Guerrilla Radio"
Fuck you Fred Durst! How dare you cover The Who! And yes I have heard his version, it seriously sucks even though the original is one of my favourite ever songs. 4 - Really? I can understand why you don't like it... I'm not too keen on some of the vocal parts but the solos and choir-like vocals are both pretty good. While I don't remember hearing any of the others, it does look like they'd suck, so I'll avoid them.
Don't fuck with the Shat.
bodominflames is right, Crazy Town's cover of New Noise is probably the worst cover I have ever heard. But morbid curiosity will force me to listen to Hilary Duff's version of My Generation.
That was even more terrible than I thought it would be. wow.
Too bad that's still limp bizkit's best song
Agree except for #6 and #8 which are good, and #5 which is a new take.
i know this is an old list but i'mma say it any ways.
needs more my chemical romance - "desolation row"
I actually liked #4.
And, #1 is such a guilty pleasure, but a pleasure for me nonetheless.
I'll admit, the weird ass instrumental part is so stupid, but the actual singing isn't even as bad as people make it out to be.
It sure as hell is better than "I pack a chainsaw!"
Yeah 4s not bad. their cover of live and let die is infinitely worse and just pointless
I agree. The "Live And Let Die" cover is much worse. I actually prefer the GNR "Knockin" to Dylan's.
whats wrong with 1
10 sounds absolutely fucking amazing
You should put every cover off of the Metallica MTV Icon on here. You have Snoop Dogg, Limp Bizkit, Avril Lavigne, Korn, Disturbed, Sum 41, and Staind covering Metallica songs.
Why must you remind us of 1?
Also Miley Cyrus covered Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" if you want terrible.
So, anyone heard that "Crazy Train"-cover by Serj and Tom Morello? THAT is a terrible cover
hillary duff thought she could do "my generation". What's next? miley cyrus doing agalloch?
1 is awesome eat a circumcised flaccid penis
Pass the sauce
The 30 seconds to Mars cover of Hunter
They literally change 'scandinavian' to 'american'
1 is awesome, and so is 4... I actually prefer 1 to the original... Holy shit!
Yeah man, 4 is pretty cool. For a bad cover song, try Metallica - Whiskey In The Jar.
4 should be gnr's cover of live and let die aka the stupidest most pointless cover of all time
