|I Am Laertes' Son...|
Really getting into all this epic, orchestral metal stuff.
|1||Hacksaw To the Throat|
Very well-orchestrated melodic death metal with metalcore vocals. Makes me pretty happy. Their name is very very misleading methinks.
So...really want this. The Moor pwns a lot of things.
|3||Blood of the Black Owl|
A Feral Spirit
Fucking crazy-ass black-doom-folk. Makes me want to eat raw deer and wear animal skins...
One-song albums have a tendency to win hardcore. Considering I know only three such albums (X Japan-Art of Life, Pig Destroyer-Natasha, and this) 2 out of 3 isn't bad at all.
|5||Wolves In the Throne Room|
Still really enjoying this much more than I should.
Shadows of the Sun
Great, not really metal but I do have Bergtatt as well, and it is very metal.
Ocean of Illusions
Not great really...decent. Epic definitely. Check out my review.
P.S. Anyone else ever notice that lower-case l's look exactly like upper-case I's?
Not as epic as they come, but probably what originally got me here.
Blood In Our Wells
Almost forgot about this because I hardly listen to it due to lack of it being available.
Running out of epic...had to call in repeats for backup.
|3,4,5,6,8,9,10 = FUCK YES. You need an epic book for this, read The Cattle Raid Of Cooley or by it's called The Raid by Randy Lee Eickhoff. It's just one guy slaughtering thousands of people and you dont have to be a mick to get pumped up by Cuchulainn.|
|List title and "epic" list needs 300 soundtrack!|
|300 is so metal|
|my most epic list ever and nobody wants to comment?|
|Windir = epic. get Arntor... now!|
|bal-sagoth = most epic metal ever|
|Bathory. That band is pretty much essential for anyone who considers him/herself a metalhead.|
|yeah Blood Fire Death defines epicness, espicially "Odens Ride over Nordland" leading into "A Fine Day to Die". Best introduction for an album ever.|
