Considering re-buying some albums that were recently remastered and wanted to know of anybody else does this. I look at it as a sign of love of how much one can really have when it comes to music. First 7 are albums I actually own while the rest I have copied onto my computer.
Eazily I approach...
The version that I have right now of this sounds like complete shit. The music though, is timeless.
|3|| ||Beastie Boys|
It makes me cringe that they decided to separate each track off of "B-Boy Bouillabaisse." Record companies just don't understand. Look at The Mars Volta's "Frances The Mute."
Check Your Head
...Really don't have anything to say about this album. Good shit though.
I heard the Re-Lit version this comes with a dvd of previously unreleased shit and, that the version of the album itself, sounds much better than the version that was released a few years back.
Talking Heads: 77
The dual disc format came and went like nothing. Too bad they never mad proper cd versions of these remasters. Ah well, at least blank cd's exist.
Remain In Light
Same as it ever was...
|8|| ||The Beatles|
Mono Box Set
Heard all of these on youtube and although it doesn't let the music shine at its fullest in that form, it already sounds much superior that the shit that was the '87 remasters.
Classic in every way.
Let It Be
Two of us riding nowhere...
The Legacy edition is hard to beat since it also features "Brother" and "State of love and trust," two awesome songs that in ways, are even better than some songs off the classic that is "Ten."
Man the Mono Box set is so damn expensive though.
lol i know but it seems worth it.
I guess it could end up being a good inventment.
yeah now it's just a matter of saving up all that money. it could end up being the most money i ever spent on something music related, besides an ipod.
get 1, 3,4,5,7,11. i know ill get flack for this but i find the beatles music boring
crazy, but understandable.
pauls boutique has better bonus tracks abut check your head has the cypress hill remix of so watcha want. well actually a buch of remixes of that song and a bunch of unreleased songs too. the chronic re-lit is excellent. the megadeth rust in peace remaster is excellent too
i've been meaning to get rust in peace.
gza is makin liquid swords 2. check hiphopdx.com. ialso listen ot the new twin perils song there, drop zone
song was pretty nice.
big applause for Raekwon, he set the bar high for future "sequel" albums and hopefully gza sees that instead of doing a half ass job like some other rappers who have attempted this in the past.
9 and 10 are top priorities.
9 and 10 are the best of the remasters along with Pepper and Mystery Tour.
I have a couple mono rips. Amazing.
