Listen Already You Goofs...

these are 5 albums that all you gofs haven't listened to...i'm talking ratings in the single digits...get your acts together because these are all as awesome as a grilled cheese sandwich made by mommy on a sunday...yeah sunday not monday or tuesday like some asholes would make you believe but sunday...
1Nahemah
The Second Philosophy

Progressive death metal from Spain...one of my favorite harsh vocalists with amazing clean vocals to boot...one of the only albums where i think the album art completely fits the sound...drummer plays very un-death metal like drums that make his work very unique...superb use of quiet and loud sections including some electronics...fans of opeth, agalloch, disillusion, and katatonia-esque cleans need apply...Recommended Tracks: Nothing, Siamese, Labrinthine Straight Ways
2Lady Radiator
Bounce Energy Hear Me Out

Did you ever wonder what At the Drive-In would sound like if Anthony Green (Circa Survive) was the vocalst except Anthony actually grew a pair and varied his approach...well that's what we have here...post-hardcore yumminess...production is a bit lacking but where it loses in that it gains with sheer tightness and moments that actually feel epic...Recommended Tracks: Elude, Ready Explode, Wayne Brady Don't Hold Me Back
3 Fredrik Thordendal's Special Defects
Sol Niger Within, Version 3.33

Guitarist from meshuggah decided to make a mind blowing album of his own...if you like meshuggah you prbably will like this but that doesn't mean they are similar...album plays like one long song and while containing the techinicality of meshuggah, it has a more progressive feel, utiliaing a saxophone and an organ...thomas haake does the vocals in a black-metalish way that comes off reptilian...drummer is mind-blowing as well with some great fills...Recommended tracks: ALL
4Minsk
The Ritual Fires of Abandonment

Mind-blowing Post Metal with a sludgy, tribal feel...amazing drumming and vocals cement one journey...extremely long songs blow by you, creating both an atmosphere of brutality at some times ad serenity at others...if you're lookig for atmospheric music, look no further fans of Isis will delight...Recommended tracks: Embers, Ceremony Ek Stasis
5 Zimmer's Hole
When You Were Shouting at the Devil...

Fan of Dethklok? Fan of Strapping Young Lad? Can take a break from serious Death Metal and enjoy an album that puts metal clches to the forefront but still makes some excellent tunes? Then Zimmer's Hole is the band for you...SYL minus Devin (then nothing to special right?) (Wrong) The Heathen takes over for Devin and has a versatility that few vocalists can ever hope to obtain...give a listen to this death/thrash/comey metal awesomeness and i know you won't be disappointed...Recommended Tracks: The Vowel Sog, We Rule the Fucking Land, When You were Shouting at the Devil...We were in League with Satan
