My Radiohead list is always a bit different than everyone else's because I'm a sucker for haunting, electronics.
The haunting, electronic beats, drumlines, and use of every instrument known to man kicks my tail every time I listen to Amnesiac. It's just so haunting, makes you want to look over your back at night.
Radiohead crafted potentially one of the best songs EVER on Kid A, in the form of The National Anthem, and not to mention the album flows well and isn't too long like most cryptic alt albums. Amazing.
Completely bare bones. It's a minimal album that is strangely dark and disturbing, and completely addicting.
OK Computer is an amazing album; just not as good as the Top 3. OK Computer is sporadic, fresh, and paranoid. Just a bit too much filler and kind of boring.
Hail to the Thief
HTTT was a bit of a greatest hits CD, while not being a greatest hits CD. It almost seemed that Radiohead was out of ideas (that was before In Rainbows) on HTTT, and was just compiling past works. There's a few good listens here though.
The Bends was a bit too straight-forward for me, the guitars seem to simplistic and crappy, his vocals lack, and WAYYY overdone distortion.
Pablo Honey=Extreme Behavior
Wow, Ok Computer is way too low.
Heh Amnesiac does make me look behind myself because there are parts in "Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors" that sound like cars and phones
By the way, The NAtional Anthem is the weakest song on Kid A barring In Limbo.
thats interesting that your favorite album by them is Amnesiac. Good list!
This list is horrid. Anyone that thinks Amnesiac is #1 doesn't deserve to listen to this band.
And that's where you would be wrong!
MCP3000's a dick.
