Sleeper Gems

Some of these albums took me YEARS to appreciate. I guess one day I light went off: "OHHH! I get it!"
1Bjork
Homogenic

Joga is out of this world
2Sigur Ros
Takk...

Really despised this band for a long time. The enchanting piano melody in Hopipola quickly changed that.
3Nine Inch Nails
The Fragile

Definitely in my top 10 all time. I bought it in 7th grade and just wasn't ready.
4Tool
Aenima

Not really a sleeper, but it took years to realize its genius.
5Converge
Jane Doe

Really, converge as a band more than this album.
6Darkthrone
Transilvanian Hunger

I guess I was too enthralled with over-produced death metal to really give a fuck about DT
7Sleep
Dopesmoker

Same reasoning as above. Once the novelty of lightning fast arpeggios wore off, this album sounded pretty sweet.
