Conditioner Is Better
5Atoms For Peace

I've run through this album a good many times since it's release and what strikes
me most about it is that with every listen, you hear something new and expansive.
Perfect for atmospheric background listening or on headphones.
4Local Natives

Such a smooth, relaxing listen. Every number has solid lyrics, slick production, and
impressively intricate drumming.

One of the few heavy, punch-your-face rock acts out there. This album has
everything good about Patton roller-coastered into your eardrums.
2Portugal. The Man
Evil Friends

Portugal never let me down. Every album is a grower and this one not only grows
on you but, at first listen, is nothing short of exhilarating. We all know Danger
Mouse produced it, but the star of the show is still PTM's unpredictability and John
Gourley's infectious choruses.
1The Flaming Lips
The Terror

Somehow, this album evokes the very themes its title suggests yet sucks you into
a vacuum of spaced-out bliss. The best album that has come out this year.
