Albums That Changed My Life

This is a compilation of albums that have greatly affected my life musically as well as just sentimentally.
10Air
Talkie Walkie

I think this will always remind me of a beach trip i took with the fam one summer. This was basically on repeat all week and i remember getting buzzed for the first time and passing out to it's melodies and sonic dreamscapes.
9Facing New York
Get Hot

Saw them open for the Rx Bandits having no clue who they were or even what kind of music they made. I was floored by the air between beats, the outstanding vocals, and brute honesty. This is a flawless record.
8Rage Against the Machine
Evil Empire

So fucking angry and awesome. This was the CD that had me romping around my bedroom screaming out lyrics and kicking stuff.
7Pavement
Wowee Zowee

So much freedom, and never takes itself too seriously. I just have fun listening to this in the car, as background, or up close on some headphones.
6Deftones
White Pony

I never really listened to any heavy music until my bro handed me this with his approval. I found it incredibly artistic for something so heavy, in fact for anything out there for that matter.
5Cake
Fashion Nugget

I don't think i ever realized just how "cool" music could sound until i ate some cake.
4Moby
Play

This was the gateway into electronica for me; and remains my favorite electronic album to this day.
3Rush
Moving Pictures

This is probably my first progressive rock CD. I loved it then and still do. Rush is just the shit.
2Led Zeppelin
Physical Graffiti

My uncle got me this when i went to visit him; i remember being a bit of a Led-Head at the time and he pointed this monster out in the record store, bought it for me and told me to listen to it. Awesome memory.
1The Beatles
Anthology 2

This was my first actual CD. My brother gave it to me for waiting on a call from his girlfriend and i've never looked at music or art the same way since.
