Needs more Wu-Tang.
damn. list kinda gets worse as it goes down lol. listen to underground stuff, man
def. more wu-tang. nas is great though.
i like illmatic by nas. everything else on here sucks, but i guess you havent checked anything else thats not on the radio or mtv.
el-p....check out my list of rap i like, theres a lot of great stuff
Needs more B-Real.
Kanye West is actually pretty great, and I dont have any eminem though some people have said great stuff about him. So yeah check out the Wu-Tang's first 2 records and all of their solo records especially the GZAs Liquid Swords.
My favorite crappers
first kanye is ok, nas is solid, rest is garb.
4: die, piece of shit
Cypress Hill and Big B are better than almost all of these.
Correct me if i'm wrong but if you are constantly featured as a host of the MTV Music Videos channel you shouldn't be called a rapper, just a pop artist.
A couple things..
1. When I heard the new beat for Kanye's Stronger on a mixtape back in April or May, I just about shit my pants.
2. Weezy is possibly the hottest commercial rapper right now.. dude has a weirdish voice, but writes tight stuff..
3. Maybe I'm alone in feeling this, but Eminem hasnt' really put out a solid album since the MMLP (yes I know there was only a couple albums since then), and has pretty much made a joke of himself.
4. wu-tang/del tha funkee homosapien and el-p are all tight..
You should check out Cage, the roots, pharoahe monch, immortal technique, jedi mind tricks, felt (and atmosphere on that note), brother ali, blue print (and with that, soul position)
Yes, I did indeed see Rock the Bells, but I knew all of these guys' stuff very well beforehand, except Blue Print, and THESE are some of the best emcees around today. Check them out
the only place I would like to see anyone on this list is in the morgue
Some really good rappers, some really bad rappers. (nobody will be happy on a list like this though)
ummm, Rage Against The Machine? ring a bell? Zach De La Rocha, amazing lyricist and rapper.
dude, it starts with immortal technique.
listen to him, and you'll realize what great hip hop is.
kanye is solid, nas is great, but aside from that, thats a buncha pop on steriods.
get real and listen to real shit.
