If You Dont Make A List...
... you don't exist, right? Here's a bunch of albums, I've been listening to. Also, I would love some recommendations for dark and rainy November days. Drudkh and Woods of Desolation or Opeth aside. |
1 | | Pavor Furioso
This was a surprise for me. I expected a typical tech-death record but they have a certain charm that elevates them. Oh, and the bassist is a beast. |
2 | | Underoath Disambiguation
Like with LitSoS, I first thought that this album is boring but after a few listens it really clicked. A great record. Spencer's vocals are great. |
3 | | Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Kanye West is an asshole, but I really like his music. Although his previous two outputs were not as good as his earlier stuff, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy shows that the guy can still make a good pop record. |
4 | | Noosebomb Brain Food for the Braindead
'Random son of a bitch, run-of-the-mill bastard'. Anger is the name of the game here and, boy, these guys play the game well. |
5 | | Diocletian War of All Against All
The Hobbesian title of the album really represents bestial and war-like nature of the album. |
6 | | Electric Wizard Dopethrone
Yeah, it took me a couple of years to 'discover' it and I am a fool for not getting it earlier. Groovy, and heavy as fuck. |
7 | | Grave Upheaval Grave Upheaval
Pure evil put on tape right here. |
8 | | Deerhunter Halcyon Digest
This was my first experience with Deerhunter and it was a pretty good one. Where should I go next? |
9 | | Various Artists The Warriors OST
Watched the movie recently and remembered how good the soundtrack was. Barry de Vorzon's 'evil funk' and cheesy 70's rock/pop really works in this one. |
10 | | Defeated Sanity Chapters of Repugnance
Been listening to this regularly since the release. Engulfed in Excruciation is boss. The slams get me every time. |
