its finally decided to turn autumn where i live now. which is awesome, cause fall just sorta makes all music sound better, you know? works with books too. list is just digs, also boredom
1Yo La Tengo
I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One

archetypal fall album, and not just because of "autumn sweater". also, it's pretty crazy how this just keeps getting better and better considering how much i've listened to it
Halcyon Digest

how could i not like a new deerhunter album
3Frank Turner
Love, Ire & Song

As I get older and just more generally disenchanted and disappointing with things/people, the more I have the urge to listen to this
4Titus Andronicus
The Monitor

see 3
Public Strain

or, how to perfectly encapsulate your album art. Also, album owns
6Elliott Smith

not much needs to be said? Sometimes I find Smith's lyrics to be a little too acerbic and depressing, but not this album. Probably his best imo
7The Walkmen

pretty sweet, especially considering it had rudy reppin it and everything. it's been a particularly good year for indies, even though i think i say that every year. also, jk klapper
8Sufjan Stevens
The Age of Adz

Haven't bought into the staff/contributor-hype yet, but I have like an obligation to listen to anything chan and robin give a 5 to until I like it as much as they do
