Releases With Cool Packaging
Releases that I own that have cool packaging, not the artwork so much but just the packaging apposed to the normal plastic case, pay no attention to the order.
Storm of the Lights Bane
I am talking about my vinyl not my cd, It comes in a gate fold double vinyl with a huge booklet, it's badass =]
Ashes Against The Grain
Comes in a limited to 500 wooden box, CD comes in a pretty cool slip case as well, Sweetness!
Just a really original packaging, I like the little glass eye things.
Annihilation Of The Wicked
Again the vinyl not CD, It just looks badass, It's a gate fold double vinyl, has all the Egyptian talk inside the gate fold, which I find interesting.
Almost like a book looking thing, no booklet inside though lol, just a little pocket for the CD, One of my favorite CDs in all.
The Reissue, with the bonus DVD and comes in a digi with way better artwork inside the booklet than in the original.
A Blaze In The Northern Sky
My picture vinyl, it is just so fucking cool!!!!! Go find this now!
Box set in brown digi books, limited to 500. Also has really cool writings about each album.
Landschaften Ewiger Einsamkeit
A dark ambient CD that comes in a DVD case for some reason with a booklet with some of the most depressing landscapes you've ever seen.
Just a normal digi, but I love this CD so much it makes the packaging seem that much cooler, Travis Smith is such an amazing artist, I love all the CD art he has done.
Other than 3 and 5 rest own visually and musically especially 4 and 10.
1 is probably my favorite piece of cover art of all time.
Yeah Storm of the Lights Bane does have really cool artwork, the same guy did the In the nightside Eclipse artwork (which I'm sure you know) as well which is equally as badass, two of my favorite covers for sure.
I believe the artists name is Necrolord if my memory serves me correctly.
Good Job!, yeah he has done a lot of cool paintings for bands, he was also in the pre at the gates band Grotesque which is pretty damn cool as well.
The guy who did Emperor and Dissections artwork did the logo for my little music project, see my journal for a pic.
I saw a hirogliphic (spelling?) of Slayer's Christ Illusion today. It was a hand that opened and closed. When it was open it had a nail through it.
i like original better on 6.
3 is great as well.
