Band Influences

my band takes influences from a bunch of different music and bands and stuff. we've released a couple of instrumentals recently, check em out at: we also have a facebook page if you're interested. ...list is albums that influence our sound greatly.

Most obvious influence, it's got the groove and the atmosphere + the clean/harsh vocal combination.
2Amia Venera Landscape
The Long Procession

More the ambient stuff and build-ups from this.
The Concept of Dreaming

Djent parts and grooves
4In Flames
The Jester Race

We're all kind of melodeath nuts at heart so there's some in flames-y guitar leads sprinkled here and there
5Porcupine Tree
Fear of a Blank Planet

My drumming mainly.
6Uneven Structure

Atmosphere + groove
7 Ever Forthright

Ex-Periphery vocalist Chris Baretto's new band. It's fucking awesome. And our vocalist has been compared to him at times (at least his cleans) Check this shit out if you haven't.
8The Contortionist

Spacey-leads, ambience, general awesomeness
The Discovery

Probably the closest thing to our sound that we listen to. But we try to make our music more centered around atmosphere and melody rather than groove.
10Misery Signals

Clashy yet melody sweeping chords, melodic metalcore (and some hardcore) influence.
