Recent Diggin's.

Some recent stuff I've been listening to, more or less to broaden my horizons.
1Minor Threat
Complete Discography

Absolutely classic American hardcore. Worth a listen to anyone that enjoys old school punk or hardcore. 5/5 for me
2Gorilla Biscuits
Start Today

Another classic American hardcore release. Same as above. Also 5/5.
3Edge of Sanity
Crimson

Crimson, you were right, this rules. This album is nuts, but I won't rate it just yet, because I've only heard the track once. n/a/5
4Weezer
Pinkerton

I loved Weezer when I was younger, and my parents got me pinkerton. The rawness just didn't click with me what I was 13ish, but I went back and gave this album a chance, and I'm damn glad I did. 4.5/5
5Mors Principium Est
Liberation = Termination

My favorite melo-death band ever. Yes, there's better melodeath out there, but these guys are just my favorite handsdown. They mix in a bit of industrial influence into their melodeath sound as well. Definitely their most musicially challenging release to date, and I'm in the process of really absorbing it, so far it's very very good. so far it's at a 4/5
6Johnny Truant
In The Library of Horrific Events

Saw this review today and decided to acquire it. Really cool stuff. Very different than anything else in the genre that I've heard. I'll be analyzing this a bit before I rate too. n/a/5
7Meshuggah
Obzen

I actually picked up a tangible copy of this. This is probably my favorite Meshuggah release to date, as it goes on the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality, but also adds the best of pretty much all their albums and throws it all together in a technical masterpiece. 4.5/5
8 Powerglove
Metal Combat for the Mortal Man

When I heard about this, I HAD to get it. This stuff is not only quirky and enjoyable, satisfying my inner gamer/nerd, but it's also musically well executed and it is extremely infectious. 4/5
