Masochist 10.01.10	Asiatic - Yeah, notice where half the songs come from ;-). Had 'Chronicles' been cut down a few songs (and if "The Truth" had been just a bit better), it would almost certainly transcend their stigma. As it is, it's only their best album by a lot.

Masochist 10.01.10	renegadestrings - For more opinion-changing songs by that band, check out "Born To Lead" or "Don't Tell Me." You may or may not like them, but songs like those make 'Every Man For Himself' their best album...Hoobastank's 'Chronicles of Life And Death', if you would.

Masochist 10.01.10	Bloc - YES, it does! It used to be #22 that was my favorite song, but the more I listened to it, the more I realized that "In This World" is definitely the best thing the band had ever produced (and probably ever will)

Masochist 10.01.10	See, and I was disappointed to hear that their latest album wasn't up to par (which is saying something for Hoobastank). First album is pretty cool, 'The Reason' is really personal and nostalgic for me (else I might like it as much as I do, 'cause some of those lyrics are fucking garbage)...and of course, 'Every Man...' is awesome.

Satellite 10.02.10	Goldfinger, that takes me back. And I could never hate GD because they were my first favorite band and by extension paved the way to the hundreds of punk bands I listened to subsequently.
Masochist 10.02.10	Unnamed Ocean - I still do ;-)...but I can tell you it's because of their vocal harmonies. They're so pretty... Satellite - Yeah, Goldfinger isn't a band that gets hated on, but just forgotten. Before this, last time they were even mentioned in a list was back in July.
