01.12.13 | Link is not working, but that was basically my dream guitar.
Guitarwise, my timeline is (starting 8 years ago) $70 Kramer ---> Ibanez GRG121
---> Epiphone SG G-400 ---> (used) Ibanez RG350EX ---> (used) Jackson JS1.
I always sold my guitar before getting a new one. I might quit sometime soon since college absorbs my time, and my crappy gear has made me lose motivation in practicing. |

01.12.13 | "but if you quit what will you do about your username??"
This question has been a haunting dilemma for years, I need help.
"my first electric guitar was an epiphone sg g310, not even a damn g400"
My first guitar was basically a plank with strings and pickups; I would have been very thankful with a g310. |

01.12.13 | My first guitar was some piece of shit acoustic my parents got for my sister that she never played. I decided to teach myself how to play on it and it's action is so bad that you can literally slide your fingers under it. That was about 10 years ago |

01.12.13 | Epiphone Les Paul Classic > Ibanez S520EX > Fender Telecaster American Special.
Pickups were upgraded in all 3 while I owned them. |

01.12.13 | My first was an epiphone sg-400. then that broke right before i played my first show so I bought an epiphone les paul studio and now I have a Fender pawn shop series jaguarillo. I bought this tiny marshall amp that had a great clean channel but the distortion sucked so after like 2 years of playing I bought a Fender frontman 212-r and havent upgraded since |
XingKing
01.12.13 | Frontman's have excellent clean sounds. That's actually the amp used to record the song on my soundcloud. I was thinking of buying a Frontman 212r or a Vox AC15 and I'm thinking I'll go with the Vox |
UnnamedOcean
01.12.13 | First guitar was one of those Lagunas from Guitar Center. Only $150, couldn't complain for my first guitar. Did some modifications to it. I just got a new Telecaster though and I couldn't love it any more. |
lyzakthellama
01.12.13 | I've never played on a Vox AC15 but I do know that you can get a wide variety of sounds out of the frontman if you are a diverse player. I am in a metal and an alternative/ish band and it works great for both. |
XingKing
01.12.13 | Vox amps pretty much have lush clean sounds and that's about it. My style uses really nice cleans and then really heavy distortion, so I'm just gonna get some nice distortion pedals. |
Ire
01.12.13 | first guitar was a no name strat rip off
was poopty n stuff but oh man was so rad when i first got it. got dat tobacco sunburst |
Epilogue
01.12.13 | I've never tried a Laguna, they were always cheap though. I wanted a Vox for the longest time, I'd probably get one if i had the means to now, but there are other amps I'd much rather get now (Hughes & Kettner, DV Mark, etc.etc.)
and thanks KILL, I'm loving it more and more each time I play. |
OneMoreRoland
01.12.13 | Got a shitty Jackson Dinky - Started using my dad's vintage Hagstrom Swede - Bought my own PRS Custom 24 SE (perfect guitar) - Bought Ibanez Acoustic/Electric.
Then I started playing drums a lot more. Dixon set. |
Sapientlife
01.12.13 | I won a Hamer Californian for my first electric guitar, it was alright, but I switched over to a Gibson Silverburst Les Paul Studio back in 2011 |
Dolving999
01.13.13 | First guitar I've ever played was this one Ibanez acoustic that my mother gave to me, it was hers and it's already older than me, so that one is a like a relic to me.
Then I got me a crappy Stagg X-100 with a Stagg amp (lousiest shit ever), but I never got to sell them, mainly because it was my first electric.
Not so long ago, I bought a LTD EC-100QM and a Peavey Vypyr 75 Amp, happy with that gear so far!
And you guys are totally right, college sucks, takes away all of a guy's free time. Thank god I only need 3 more months to get my degree. After that, I'm totally dedicating myself to songwriting.

01.13.13 | I had a Peavey Vypyr 30 for a while, it was great. You could get any tone out of it. |
