Pelican, Kayo Dot, and some other bands are coming near my town for 12 dollars Nov 3. I have listened to 1 song from each but not beyond that, but I've seen good reviews of them on here. 10.31.08 | Goddamnit, I'm jealous. Both are fantastic. Based on your ratings, though, Kayo Dot may be difficult for you to swallow. Pelican shouldn't be too bad if you're cool with somewhat heavier music and post rock.
You may not really care for them before going, but I'll bet that seeing them live will probably help you like them a lot. That tends to be the case often. |
