Digs
Learned to play "Utreise" by Ulver the other day on the acoustic, which is pretty sweet considering I'm not that great of a guitar player. Gonna attempt "The Bard's Song" next, see how this shit goes.

1 | | Nightrage Wearing a Martyrs Crown
Not really understanding the low ratings for this album, this is solid melodic death metal. These guys are getting better with each album. The guitar playing and the acoustic work on this album, especially the outro to "Collision of Fate" is way too awesome for it's own good. |
2 | | Ensiferum Ensiferum
This album is just the definition of excellence. |
3 | | The Unseen State Of Discontent
Punk which I actually like? Calling your bluff on this one. |
4 | | Satanic Warmaster Strength & Honour
Bringing the kvlt to your family and friends since 1999. |
5 | | Sentenced Crimson
Because Sentenced is just that good. Album is the definition of catchy. UP THE AVERAGE RATING PEOPLE! |
6 | | Katatonia For Funerals To Come EP
Katatonia was way better when they used harsh vocals. But it's ok, they used Akerfeldt on Brave Murder Day so all is well. |
7 | | Watch Me Fall Worn
What most of the guys from Insomnium did before. Sounds a lot like Insomnium, but yet it has vast differences. They use synths a lot more, the riffs aren't as sugar-coated and there are a few guitar solos thrown around. The lead to the track "Worn Out" is one of the best ones these guys have written for either band. CHECK IT OUT! |
