2009: Celebration Of Change, Or The Mighty Pop Hurricane
As a poptimist, I think it's a given that I'm much more optimistic towards mainstream music than others. I like music that "real" music lovers absolutely detest, despise, etc. But does that make my opinion invalid? To many, this seems to be the case. But it doesn't matter -- I listen to what *I* like. And as I fondly look back... well, I remember that this was a year where a lot seemed to change. If 2008 was a party at the end of the world, this was a celebration of change.
