09.22.09 | Steinlager and Blue Moon remain two of my favorites. Strongbow is a great hard cider, but its really expensive around here for some reason. Out of the cheap beers; Bud Light all the way. Glad no one mentioned Miller Light, stuff tastes like absolute piss. |

Sam Adams is a good mainstream beer, but overall number 1? Actually the top 5 (with the exception of Switchback, never had it) is absurd.
I suggest you go out and buy these asap: Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA (or any of their brews), Rogue (any brews), Arrogant Bastard Ale or anything else by Stone Brewery, and just for kicks try any of the Samuel Smith beers.
Every one of the brewers I just named are American except for Sammy Smith.. so to say a lot of shitty beer is made here is true, but it also shows you aren't looking for good stuff or don't know where to. |
