Pretty divisive album from an already divisive enough guy. I think the biggest reason I haven't gotten more Kanye stuff is mainly because, well, it's him. But I really like Kid Cudi's debut, and this is apparently somehow related, so...
In the Wee Small Hours
Not really big on the whole rat pack scene at all. But apparently this is kind of a big deal in terms of what it did for concept albums and emotional depth, so it's at least very intriguing...
Beauty in Destruction
This is the one I need the least convincing on, really. The vocalist from Secret & Whisper and a solid backing band who went on to...well...anyways...
|Also, the Serj Tankian Elect the Dead Symphony thing. I think his solo stuff is really solid (and miles above Scars on Broadway), but wasn't sure about that release. A little gimmicky, only one album in.|

|Yeah, based on what I've heard, I'd say you'd pretty much have to like one to like the other. That being said, you should check out Silver Mountain and Blush by S & W if you haven't. Been digging those pretty deep lately.|
