10.20.07 | i agree that these are all great albums, but i might have picked different albums for the bands. like i would pick BWP for Opeth, SFaM for Dreamt Theater, Odyssey for Symphony X, BE for PoS, and THE for Ayreon. you should check out the bands Anubis Gate, Newbreed, Beyond Twilight, Star One (another Arjen side project), Zero Hour, Circus Maximus, Disillusion, Ice, Poverty's No Crime, Project Creation, Shadow Gallery, and Sonic Pulsar |

10.20.07 | 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 are epic. Queensryche is progressive compared to other heavy metal acts at the time. They dont stick to one formula in their songwriting, unlike other bands similar to them, such as Iron Maiden. |

10.20.07 | I would say put Images and SFAM here, both are classics in my eyes, though I can confidently say I like SFAM more.
I would also have both Still Life and BwP on here, being my two favorite albums of all time and such.
3 and 5 are great also...thoug V: The New Mythology Suite is definately SymX's best album. Get it if you don't have it, it's fantastic. |
