12.30.09 | Burzum i di find influential but overrated for black metal despite hat they have done for the gnere,i can't say anything for mastodon or Arcade Fire for the fact i do not know any of thier material.Necrophagist,does sound like every other technical death metal band out there,but that's Simply because a fair amount of technical death metal bands bands have the same elements tht make it so I.E.:Finger Tapping.Isis i do not know thier material either but perhaps they kept their music the same for a reason perhaps it has something to do with the genre,or thier style or progression,i don't know i'm taking a shot in the dark with that band.,Now Norther i do not find overrated,because they aren't OverExaggerated at all,same with Kalmah,Children of Bodom is overrated as hell i can agreee with you on that though,Kalmah and norther aren't as known and have Excellent song writing skills lyrically,and instrumentally and vocally.Again for the final band i do not know them. |
