i've never had a band speak to my soul the way dredg does... so naturally,

I bought this on a whim and wow, great idea. some songs are boring, but
when its good... its incredible.
"Bring Our Children Home or Everything is Nothing" is one of the big
standouts |

Colony
I only had Come Clarity for the longest time... I was apprehensive about
diving into this one because i genuinely hate HATE Anders' vocals. but this
album is incredible. way better than CC. faves: "Embody the Invisible"

Revolutions Per Minute
I had been meaning to pick this album up for a long long time... finally found
it used for cheap. Great musicianship and a more pissed off Rise Against,
great record. Best: "Like The Angel" "Blood-Red White and Blue"

Crack The Skye
finally jumped on the Mastodon bandwagon with this one... and i'm glad i
did. atmospheric with foreboding intensity... pretty dank, but the vocals
need work. favorit: "Quintessence" "The Czar" |

This album absolutely rips. great pace, great guitar and bass work, and
only one song i tend to skip (The Hardest part of letting... blah). Best:

Beggars
i have been on a fence about this album since i first bought it back in
september, and yet, i cannot stop listening to it. its probably one of my
least favorite by Thrice, but its not bad at all. in fact its quite good... great
lyrics, good musicianship, memorable and sometimes catchy songs. i
guess after Vheissu, i wanted a record that hit me with the same awe-
inspiring force. good Thrice, just not quite GREAT Thrice. the Best: "At
The Last" "Wood & Wire" "Beggars" |
