Answer: there is no special way to get those washboard abs, and thatsa damn shame. You will see ads everywhere claiming the ultimate ab exercise has been found, but these are all marketing ploys.
Doing those crunches, leg lifts, and so forth can all help you develop your abdominal muscles, but the real key comes from your nutrition and cardiovascular activities. Fat tends to build up in or around your midsection so even if you are a relatively thin individual, that 6-pack will never show through as long as you keep downing Wendy's Double Stacks.
Eat right and give yourself around 60 minutes of cardio 3 days a week, and you will start to see results.

|Here here man. The problem with America is poor diet and lack of exercise which is why, the youth of America is overrun by obesity. It's a god damn shame but what are you gonna do? Cut down the booze and fast food, eat healthier, and do cardio and lift weights ftmfw.|

|thanks for the tip, Captain Obvious. Just kidding, lot's of people don't understand that you truly are what you eat. I've been lifting for 3 years now, but I've just gotten serious with my diet in the last 8 or so months and it's been incredible. Plus, abs are overated: I'd take giant arms, shredded back, and a muscular chest and quads over a six pack any day of the week. Good Playlist too, minus the Dragonforce. Nu Metal is great for lifting because it's so simplistic, but still has a great rhythm that just gets a guy pumped. |

|absolutely. like any other muscle group, it is important to acheive balance. strong triceps require stronger biceps, hamstrings need quads, and as such, a healthy core needs emphasis placed on the erector spinae (lower back muscles) and the rectus abdominis|
