Just Saw Gojira

Tiny venue made it hard to escape the pit, which was absolutely bonkers the entire time. I've never seen so much energy at a metal show, but maybe that's because I don't get to as many as I should. Joe kept trying to make us speak French, and was generally an entertaining frontman. I couldn't see a damn thing besides him, but it was a great show regardless. Car Bomb were also really cool, although their stop-start/different time signatures every measure approach can get monotonous. Local shitty deathcore band Dweller opened. Setlist is the one I found from the night before, except Toxic Garbage Island was moved to last.
