Fugue
11.02.08 | http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_math_rock_groups
I'm not really sure what Math Rock is, so I can't tell if it is an accurate list or not, but its worth checking out some of the bands I guess |

11.02.08 | Give me Damiera a shot...they're sort of mathy. And looked up Ether on myspace, they're some great math rock stuff. And of course you already know Dillinger...I'm assuming. |

flamethisuser
11.02.08 | I forayed into math rock a little while back as well, so here's some stuff I liked:
Giraffes? Giraffes
Don Caballero
Hella (a bit dense, but still worth looking into IMO)
Faraquet
June of 44 (post-hardcore leaning, along with Faraquet)
Planets (see NorCal list)
Adebisi Shank (I know you already have their full-length, but try looking into their EP as well as they are of similarly high quality)
Tera Melos (I recommend giving Drugs to the Dear Youth a try if you haven't already. If '40 Rods to the Hog's Head' isn't good for what ails you, then you can effectively ignore anything else they've done.)
and Maps and Atlases suck. hard. |
jrowa001
11.02.08 | i dont like Hella that much but ill give them another shot.
i meant to get into Giraffes? Giraffes! but i forgot about them, thanks.

11.12.08 | Great list you already have! I would recommend the following bands:
1. Shellac, every album is great!
2. Don caballero, if you likes battles, I think you will like don cab as well!
3. Drive like jehu - more post-hardcore, but yank crime is great album, as well as every at the drive in full lenght, but its more post-hardcore music.
