The Weezman Cometh

Weezer best to worst.
1Weezer
Pinkerton

From the start, this album has great melodies, fantastically awkward lyrics, and really captures a rawness that Weezer were obviously comfortable with, but have yet to go back to.
2Weezer
The Blue Album

A true pop rock masterpiece, there isn't a bad song here. One of my all time favorite albums.
3Weezer
Maladroit

I like Maladroit simply because Weezer isn't dicking around. It's a guitar heavy, simple and to the point rock album, and is terribly underrated (especially on Sputnik). It's also easily their most consistent album since reforming.
4Weezer
Green Album

It's good, but very bland. Not to say that there aren't some great songs here: "Smile", "Simple Pages" and "Photograph" are carefree numbers with great hooks.
5Weezer
The Red Album Deluxe

Their 2008 self titled was okay, not great. The experimentation with different vocalist and musical styles might have been cute, but there just wasn't enough meat on the album. Pork and Beans, Greatest Man that Ever Lived, and Everybody Get Dangerous were pretty good, though. However, the deluxe edition has three hidden gems. "Pig" is great. "Spider", the acoustic ballad, is the most Pinkerton they've been since Pinkerton. But "Miss Sweeney?" Probably the best thing they've done since they've gotten back together. Great geeky lyrics and a simple, crunchy chorus that is nothing but pure Weezer.
6Weezer
Raditude

Their most "fun" album that can be either good or just awful. The first two songs are great, so is Trippin on the Freeway and... uh, well, that's pretty much it. There's some average songs in there, and some god awful ones ("Love is the Answer" "Can't Stop Partying" 'In the Mall"). If anything, get the bonus tracks, because they're pretty good, and in my opinion should've replaced all the bad songs on the regular album.
7Weezer
Make Believe

The less said about this, the better. I still like "Haunt You Everyday", though.
