Yellowcard Ranked In My Opinion
Ah, yes. My second favorite band Yellowcard. Let's go. |
1 | | Yellowcard Southern Air
The best album from these guys, the songs are catchy but still well written and it just screams youth while still feeling mature.
Favorite song: Southern Air
Least Favorite song: Here I Am Alive |
2 | | Yellowcard Yellowcard
The bands self titled and final album is a bittersweet listen as it really pushes the boundaries of who they were as a band.
Favorite song: Empty Street or A Place We Set Afire
Least Favorite song: I'm A Wrecking Ball |
3 | | Yellowcard Ocean Avenue
What can I say about this one that hasn't already been said? It's just a really fun and enjoyable listen. My first introduction to the band, actually.
Favorite song: Twentythree
Least Favorite song: Back Home |
4 | | Yellowcard Lift a Sail
This one is very different but at the same time very lovable. I remember the first time I put it on, I was shocked at how much I actually liked the different alternative style they went for.
Favorite song: The Deepest Well
Least Favorite song: Make Me So |
5 | | Yellowcard When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes
This one is still a solid release but feels like it's just not as great as others like Southern Air or the S/t.
Favorite song: Sing For Me
Least Favorite song: Hide |
6 | | Yellowcard Paper Walls
This one has some really great drumming and some really enjoyable individual songs but overall it just gets a little tedious to listen to.
Favorite songs: Shadows and Regrets
Least Favorite songs: Fighting |
7 | | Yellowcard Lights and Sounds
I don't hate this album, hell I don't even dislike it. I just feel like it's a little bloated for the band. It tries a tad too hard to be something else when in reality it's just an average pop punk album with some other elements added.
Favorite song: Waiting Game
Least Favorite: Martin Sheen or JFK |
