11.08.16 | Holy crap, 43 albums! I'm doomed. Btw, the albums by The Jezabels, School of Seven Bells, Regina Spektor and Poets of the Fall all came from recs by the Sputnik community. |
Dewinged
11.08.16 | 90% of what I am listening to lately come from Sput recs. Sometimes I think some bands not even exist, it's just people making them up. Btw check Cult Of Luna & Julie Christmas - Mariner :) |
Dylan620
11.08.16 | If it helps lighten the load, I suggest you skip 41 entirely. That album is hot garbage.
Or, better yet, swap it out for the fantastic new Drive-by Truckers album. |
TwigTW
11.08.16 | You're going to love 2, and that Lush EP is great too . . . Funny to see Enigma on your list because Deep Forest has a new album out too. Don't worry. I'm not rec-ing it. It's pretty boring. 14 is disappointing too. |
Jethro42
11.08.16 | Most of the list is filled with unknown bands for me.
Interested in 9 and 24
Only know by the name; 21, 25, 27
22 is great. Its highlights; ''The Voyage of Eight Eighteen'', ''Camouflage'' and ''Crowded Isolation'' |
brokencycle
11.08.16 | 1,24,27 and 32 are the only ones I am on board with.
The rest I either found rather boring, or just not my particular cup of tea! |

11.08.16 | Don't listen to 8 tbh |
TwigTW
11.08.16 | @Jethro: I didn't know Kansas still had it in em. I'll have to check that out. |
Jethro42
11.08.16 | Yeah Twig, it's pretty solid. I could live without couple of ballads, but the titles I just mentioned are kind of classic Kansas songs. There are also great melodies to be found, so yes, go ahead. |
Jethro42
11.08.16 | Also, they have a new singer, and you have to be patient with him. He's not as gifted as Steve Walsh. |
TwigTW
11.08.16 | will do (getting used to bands having new singers) |

11.08.16 | I think You can just skip Skillet. Everything I heard off that album was absolutely atrocious. Though, I do have a bias against "This song could be about God, or it could be about your girlfriend" type bands. |

11.08.16 | I know that 8, 33 and 41 have gotten terrible ratings on here. I kind of have to check out 8 for my son - they're one of his favorite bands (although even he was disappointed with this album). I put 33 on my list because I loved the album he did with his wife Sherri (I like Eisley a lot) so I figured I'd check him out in something else. I'm actually taking my kids to see 41 next week. I like their EP, but so did a lot of other people who didn't like the album. Most looking forward to 5, though. |

11.08.16 | Glad to hear good things about the new Kansas album Jethro. I've started listening to 2, Twig, and you're right, so far I'm liking it. Sort of halfway between Best Coast and The Go-Go's. |

11.08.16 | 18 is an aoty contender for me |
Divaman
11.08.16 | Heh, thanks for the recs Dewinged and Dylan. As you can see, I probably won't get near them until next year.
I haven't liked much Deep Forest since their first album, Twig. Although tbh, while Enigma has had some OK stuff, their best album by far was their first one too. |
Divaman
11.08.16 | I'm working on 1, Brokencycle, and so far I like it pretty well.
Alex, I don't remember anymore, but you might have been one of the ones who wrote something that made me think I'd like The Jezebels. |
TwigTW
11.08.16 | I'm not sure why Enigma and Deep Forest are connected in my head, but they are . . . from this list 2 and 18 will most likely be on my 'best of' list (and maybe 24). I'll be interested to see what you think of 18. |
Divaman
11.08.16 | Probably because they're both kind of new-agey, though in very different ways. They're connected in my head too. I didn't know about the Deep Forest album, but if I'd have known about it a few weeks ago, I would have probably added it to my list. |
TwigTW
11.08.16 | ^seriously, you're not missing anything. |

11.08.16 | Good to know. |

11.08.16 | 18 and 16 are where it's at , 41 and 33 are atrocious but see how you go with them haha |
LotionLord
02.14.17 | Idk if you've listened to all these yet but:
Unleashed is not worth your time. I love a few of their other albums but Unleashed has 3 good songs.
Double Dare is hella good tho. |
Dewinged
02.14.17 | Only checked 23 and 32 so the list applies to me too ;) |
botb
02.14.17 | 30 is so good, seriously |
