bgillesp 01.28.19	Nice. I personally have a love for Longest because my friends and I would set up local games in this map while at school that were snipers only and unlimited grenades. There piled up as fast as you could respawn and it was hilarious.

MarsKid 01.28.19	My big nostalgia map is definitely Sandtrap from Halo 3 because of all the Elephant shenanigans that went down. Always became less about killing and more about making sure you controlled one. Sometimes my friends do a system link and we do a 4 v 4 Pirate battle there

MarsKid 01.28.19	The problem with Reach was that nearly ever single non-DLC map was a level taken directly from the campaign. I actually really liked all the Forge maps tho We thought about Avalanche, but considering it is a (admittedly varied) reskin of Sidewinder, we went with the classic version.

Jesuslaves 01.28.19	1. Chill Out 2. Prisoner 3. Sandtrap 4. Standoff 5. Damnation 6. Last Resort 7. Midship 8. The Pit 9. Derelict 10. Valhalla For the most part Halo CE had the best small arenas and Halo 3 had the best vehicle and CTF maps.
MarsKid 01.28.19	Breakpoint was DLC for Reach, I think the first map package. Shit was worth it, loved playing Invasion and Big Team there. And yeah man shootouts to Standoff, the cross-map shootouts there were fire

Jesuslaves 01.28.19	Reach was borderline unplayable because of armor abilities and bloom and sword block and all that shit. That said the DLC maps were surprisingly okay compared to the launch maps which were awful. Must have had a different crew on those.
MarsKid 01.28.19	It's worth a revisit. Far as I know locking was toned down and a lot of the games I play didn't even have it. And the maps weren't bad per se, but they didn't have any uniqueness to them. The DLC worked well in comparison because those levels were not linked to the campaign

MarsKid 01.28.19	I mean, I spent a decent amount of time during my Reach days trying to find exploit spots for Infection so that I could get to the best positions. Several patches later and unfortunately most of those places got invalidated

MarsKid 01.28.19	Blood Gulch is the classic and the granddaddy for a lot of other BTB maps. Valhalla could be on this list, but if you think about it, it's basically the spiritual successor to BG, so including the original kinda covers all the bases in a way.
