Ranking the Ozzy Osbourne solo albums

Ozzy Osbourne, whether you like him or not, is a heavy metal icon that has made some pretty popular music, especially in the metal genre. Ozzy is one of my favorite artists, so, here's a list of his studio albums, ranked. No compilations or cover albums.
1Ozzy Osbourne
Blizzard of Ozz

The amazing debut album. Features his most well known songs, like "Crazy Train", "Mr. Crowley", "Goodbye to Romance", and "Suicide Solution". This album is pretty much flawless except for "No Bone Movies", which isn't bad, but kind of boring and repetitive.

Highlights: "Crazy Train", "Suicide Solution", "Mr. Crowley", "Revelation", "Steal Away", "RR"
Lowlight: "No Bone Movies"
2Ozzy Osbourne
No More Tears

This album is a masterpiece too. The three ballads aren't bad, but the true stars in this bunch are the title track, "Mr. Tinkertrain", "S.I.N.", and "I Don't Wanna Change the World".

Highlights: "Mr. Tinkertrain", "I Don't Wanna Change the World", "Mama, I'm Coming Home", "No More Tears", "S.I.N.", "Zombie Stomp"
Lowlights: "Time After Time"
3Ozzy Osbourne
Diary of a Madman

DOAM would be amazing if you took out "Believer" and "Little Dolls" and replaced them with more memorable tracks. I still love the album and the songs, but it would be so much better with less filler.

Highlights: "Over the Mountain", "Flying High Again", "You Can't Kill Rock and Roll", "Tonight", "S.A.T.O.", "Diary of a Madman"
Lowlights: "Believer", "Little Dolls"
4Ozzy Osbourne
Ozzmosis

Very, very underrated. This one is probably ripped on for being half loud headbangers, half metal ballads. All the tracks on here are actually pretty dang good, except for "Denial" and "Ghost Behind My Eyes". "Tomorrow" is probably one of Ozzy's best and should be recognized.

Highlights: "Perry Mason", "I Just Want You", "See You On the Other Side", "Tomorrow", "Old L.A. Tonight", "Aimee"
Lowlights: "Ghost Behind My Eyes", "Denial", "My Little Man"
5Ozzy Osbourne
No Rest for the Wicked

The best part of this album is the catchiness. Nothing extraordinary about the playing or the lyrics, just really catchy. Doesn't make it a bad album though. "Devil's Daughter" and "Bloodbath In Paradise" are super good.

Highlights: "Miracle Man", "Devil's Daughter", "Bloodbath In Paradise", "Fire In the Sky", "Demon Alcohol"
Lowlights: "Crazy Babies", "The Liar"
6Ozzy Osbourne
Bark at the Moon

I wish I could like this album more but I can't. The only tracks here I really love are the title track, "Centre of Eternity", "Waiting for Darkness", and "Spiders". The rest is okay for me.

Highlights: "Bark at the Moon", "Centre of Eternity", "Waiting for Darkness", "Spiders"
Lowlights: "You're No Different", "One Up the B Side"
7Ozzy Osbourne
Scream

This album would be a lot better if say, Randy Rhoads were on it. It lacks interesting and fun riffs and crazy solos. Gus is a great guitarist and all, but so much more could've been done here. Best tracks are "Diggin Me Down", "Fearless", "Time", and "Jump the Moon".

Highlights: "Let Me Hear You Scream", "Diggin' Me Down", "Fearless", "Time", "Jump the Moon"
Lowlights: "Soul Sucker", "Life Won't Wait", "I Want It More", "Latimer's Mercy", "Hand of the Enemy"
8Ozzy Osbourne
The Ultimate Sin

Ah, Ozzy's little glam metal exploration. The only downfall here is how similar the songs sound. "Shot In the Dark" and "Thank God for the Bomb" are pretty exceptional I might say, though.

Highlights: "Thank God for the Bomb", "Never", "Killer of Giants", "Shot In the Dark"
Lowlights: "The Ultimate Sin", "Lightning Strikes", "Fool Like You"
9Ozzy Osbourne
Black Rain

Sort of underrated, would've been a lot better if it had more diverse lyrical themes (not stopping, loving, and war rule the lyrics) and if Ozzy's voice was not so nasal. More solos would've been great too for Zakk's last outing with Osbourne. The title track, "The Almighty Dollar", "Countdown's Begun", and "Nightmare" are all pretty good, on the other hand.

Highlights: "I Don't Wanna Stop", "Black Rain", "The Almighty Dollar", "11 Silver", "Countdown's Begun", "Nightmare"
Lowlights: "Not Going Away", "Here for You", "Trap Door"
10Ozzy Osbourne
Down to Earth

I'll be honest, though I like to say I love every album, this one is one I usually skip. Other than "Facing Hell", "Dreamer", and "Running Out of Time", I don't know what track is playing without listening really carefully to Ozzy's hard-to-understand lyrics.

Highlights: "Facing Hell", "Dreamer", "Running Out of Time", "Alive"
Lowlights: "No Easy Way Out", "That I Never Had", "You Know... Part 1", "Black Illusion"

Side note: Is there even a part two to You Know?
