Top 10 Favorite Post Metal Albums

Since this is likely to elicit tons of "wtf that's not post metal!" replies, I want to approach it in fairly broad terms. I'm leaving bands like Tool off, because I think you can definitely draw the distinction between prog and post, and....well nevermind. Let the shitposts come.
10Battlefields
Thresholds Of Imbalance

A band most will probably never hear. It takes a patient listener to get into this, but there are some seriously rewarding moments on this album. Love it to death.
9Ulcerate
The Destroyers of All

Absolutely mesmerizing, crushing album. On the deathy / techy end of the spectrum, but no question this album eschews all semblence of structure.
8Altar of Plagues
Teethed Glory and Injury

Hell of an album. Just listen to "Burnt Year". The vocal delivery is horrifying.
7Pelican
What We All Come To Need

"The Fire in our Throats..." is the obvious choice here, but I just love the riffs so much on WWACTN. Honestly the most recent release was killer too. Great band.
6Cloudkicker
Beacons

This little firecracker fell into my lap by accident and is the best accident that ever happened to me.
5The Atlas Moth
An Ache for the Distance

One of my all-time favorite albums, but its one of those impossible-to-classify albums and bands, and I feel the following four are the mainstays.
4Isis
Wavering Radiant

I know right? Was going to be Panopticon, but truthfully this is the Isis album I revisit the most, and it ain't close.
3Mouth of the Architect
Quietly

The Ties that Bind is basically equally fucking awesome as this one, but the title track on Quietly seals the deal. Goddamn it is heavy.
2Cult of Luna
Somewhere Along the Highway

Just flawless. Fucking flawless and incredible. Dark City Dead Man is one of the greatest finales to an album I can think of.
1Rosetta
The Galilean Satellites

An album that has a firm grasp in my personal top 5 of all time. I still can't wrap my mind around it. Sonically fucking devastating. The beautiful tragedy of Itinerant, the mind-blowing conclusion of Au Pays Natal, and who can forget fucking EUROPA, the band's calling card?
