Torontonian: Music Sleepiness

Totengott 01.21.15	I can listen to music all the time as long I keep the music varied, so perhaps you could try that. I don't know anything else I'm afraid.
PappyMason 01.21.15	2 is a great album (all their albums are), with a great set of songs, but for me it would probably rank 3rd best.
Torontonian 01.21.15	^ya i dont know anything else either(obviously)! i've actually searched pretty hard and n]no one else seems to have the problem.or cares enough to post anything about it. Ya, good suggestion though, i should probably avoid some genres when i feel like this.
Torontonian 01.21.15	@pappymason i dunno it feels like its the one that flows and works best together. I find TQID also great but not as good, and the debut inconsistent. what would you rank about it? Still haven't listened to hateful of hollow yet either.
PappyMason 01.21.15	I meant that out of the Smith's studio albums, I would have 'Strangeways' 3rd - although I do find that it is the easiest album of theirs to listen to. It's still great. 'Hateful of Hollow' is a comp. album which features BBC 2 studio recordings, singles and b-sides. It's also great, but you'll find quite a few of the songs on The Smith's self-titled album, albeit different versions. A great comp! 'Louder Than Bombs' is another comp. by them worth checking out. Some great songs on that too!

Torontonian 01.21.15	@pappymason thanks @valkryion that actually makes a lot of sense. I usually listen to things that demand a lot of concentration(prog) so i guess that explains why i happens so frequently. thanks!

Torontonian 01.21.15	^ya i need my 8 hours. i usually feel fine with 6-7 hours for everything except music.

Friday13th 01.21.15	I don't want to be the downer, but a little extra music is not worth losing sleep. If I were you I would tell myself "okay, this stuff can wait." To speak frankly from experience, I do believe there comes a point when too much music becomes an unhealthy addiction that you never can quench.
dspaceman 01.21.15	If you're tired, just go with the sleep, that way you won't resist the music with preconceptions or over-analyzation. Keep a clear and open mind. Let it move you first, then re-listen in a more active state. It's always good to have repetition in different lights. Or fight it hard. Stay awake stay alive.
