Quite enjoyable listen, but far from what would be to come.
Overall better version of Opiate.
Aenima is weird. It has some of my most beloved songs by the band (Pushit, Third
Eye), but the album as a whole is not as good as the 2 which follow. I guess I'm
just not too fond of all the interludes (except intermission).
Yes, I like 10,000 Days more than Aenima, get over it.
Musical Perfection. One of my all-time favourites regarding all genres of music.
Well, 5 is right I guess lol
almost got it right
This is probably how I would rank them as well
1 is 1, end of.
Switch 2 & 3 and you got it. They're close though, I'll give ya that
considering your ratings you seem to have a fucking ace taste in metal
ranking is correct
hi plebz :]
For me, 3 is 1.
ranking is correct
theres only 120 ways to rank tool yeah
Mathematically, yes. But nobody in history has ranked Opiate 1.
"Mathematically, yes. But nobody in history has ranked Opiate 1."
What about the kid from "Hooker with a Penis" that Maynard sings about? I bet he ranks Opiate at 1 ;)
Yep, switch 2 & 3.
But hey, to each their own.
"What about the kid from "Hooker with a Penis" that Maynard sings about? I bet he ranks Opiate at 1 ;)"
He's a fictional character, ergo not a historical figure. And even if Maynard didn't just make him up, do any of us REALLY exist? :-O
@SitarHero: According to an interview, it was a real "fan" of Opiate. So the only way he doesn't exist, is if we all don't exist.
I think I exist, don't know about the rest of you.
Maynard is a pretty unreliable narrator I think. But then again, maybe I cannot think because I am not.
correct ranking
I would put 10,000 Days at 3. AEnima and Lateralus are pretty interchangeable for #1, depending on the mood.
