08.22.14 | I love Opeth but god I can't get into their first two albums. I'll be honest, I don't even really dig MAYH. I feel like it falls apart on "When" and doesn't pick up again until "Demon of the Fall". And even then the final song just bores me.
Still Life-Watershed to me though are all insanely good albums. |

me? I gave A Blaze... a 3.5 because I personally can't get into it. Sputnik has clearly forgotten that subjectivity actually exists. Oh, and Nightside Eclipse is one of my favorite albums of all time. |

I'm not a huge fan of BM, but Emperor is one of my favorite bands along with Panopticon. As a genre? No, but I can enjoy different styles being meshed with it, especially in opeth's old work. |
